Dr. Caimi is a staff physician in Hematology and Medical Oncology and the Associate BMT & CT Director for Cellular Therapy at the Cleveland Clinic, Taussig Cancer Institute. He is a Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western University.
Dr. Caimi completed his medical training at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago, then completed an internship at the Hospital San Juan de Dios Hospital in Santiago, residency in internal medicine at the Sinai Hospital/Johns Hopkins University Program in Internal Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland followed by Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Medical School and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Caimi focuses on the care of patients with lymphoid malignancies, conducting clinical research that is centered around developmental therapeutics, immunotherapy and early phase trials, including clinical trials of novel cellular therapies.
