Dr. Hill is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her clinical practice focuses on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and the use of adoptive cellular therapies for patients with hematologic malignancies. As a clinical investigator, her research centers on the translation of novel CAR-T cell therapies into early-phase clinical trials for the treatment of relapsed and refractory hematologic malignancies. She serves as the principal investigator for multiple first-in-human CAR-T cell trials targeting T-cell malignancies and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). In addition, Dr. Hill is an active member of two real-world CAR-T consortia: the Real-World Outcomes Collaborative of CAR-T in Adult ALL (ROCCA) and the International Multicenter Partnership for AML CAR-T Cell Therapy (IMPACT). Through these collaborations, her work focuses on elucidating the impact of CAR-T cell therapy on leukemia outcomes, addressing real-world challenges in clinical implementation, and fostering collaborative strategies to advance the field forward.
